Story #22: The Awesome Dream

The Awesome Dream

     One day a boy fell asleep and had an awesome dream. “Mom are we at the new

house yet” said Dave, “almost honey you are going to love out new town” said Mom. A

few minutes later they arrived at Castlerock. “Ok honey we are here, you can go look

at the house then come help” said Mom, “ok” said Dave. Dave went and looked around

the house then went to help his mom unpack the moving truck. 

     “Dave, why don’t you go talk to your dad’s friend he is just outside of town”said Mom,
      “ok, I will ok see him” said Dave. 

     Dave went to go see his dad’s friend Professor Chad. “Hey Professor Chad,

why are you running in circles” said Dave. “Oh, hey Dave can you grab one of those

balls in my back” said Professor Chad. Dave went into Professor Chad’s bag and saw

three balls, what could they be? Well Dave pick one and threw it on the ground and a

creature came out and started fighting the thing chasing Professor Chad and it killed it.

     “Thank you, Dave” said Professor Chad 

     “Your Welcome” said Dave. 

     “Professor Chad what was that thing that came out of the ball” said Dave.

     “How about you come back to my lab and I will tell you about it” said Professor Chad. 

     So Dave went back to the lab and Professor Chad started telling him about the world
they live in, and that the thing that was chasing him and the thing that came out of the ball
 was called a Pokemon.

     “Wow, that is cool” said Dave, “Ya, it is and I was wondering if you would like to

become a trainer and join the world of Pokemon” said Professor Chad. “I would have

to ask my mom first” said Dave “ok, you go ask your mom and I will be right here” said

Professor Chad. So Dave went to ask his mom if he could become a trainer and his

mom said “well, sense your dad is one then sure why not” 

     “YES!” said Dave. 

     So Dave went back to see Professor Chad and someone else was there
     “Well hey there Dave, this is my grandson Chris” said Professor Chad
     “hey chris, how's it going” said Dave.

     “Hey, and good thanks for asking: said Chris. “Ok, now that the two of you are here I

want to get you guys started, so Dave you take this ball and Chris you take this ball”

said Professor Chad.

     Dave and Chris took the balls and started to go on an adventure. Dave started to

catch a whole bunch of Pokemon and started to get stronger and then one day Dave

bummed into Chris. “Hey, Chris how is your adventure going?” said Dave “Good, I

have gotten a lot stronger, want to battle?” said Chris. Dave and Chris battle and Dave

just barely won. Once Dave beat Chris it gave his confidence. Dave stared beating

gyms and started getting badges. Then one day Dave ran into a problem, he ran into

some bad people called Team Steal.

     So Dave went up to them and asked them what they were do trying to steal that orb.

There leader Archie started fight Dave and Dave won. Team Steal took off running with

the orb and just like that they were gone. So Dave kept on going in his adventure and

then he ran into Team Steal again. “Hey it’s you guys again” said Dave “ Oh great, not

you again” said Archie. 

     “We are trying to make this strong Pokemon come back to

earth and no one will stop us” said Archie” “Oh yeah” said Dave. Dave and Archie

fought and Dave won and got the orb back and the Pokemon did not come back to life.

Dave got all his eight badges and went to fight the Pokemon league when he got to

the champion he came to find out that it was his dad. 

     “Hey Dad” said Dave 

     “Hey son glad you have made it this far but now I have to do my job and make sure
you don’t win, and no matter what happens I am proud of you” said Dad. 

     Dave and his dad fought to the last Pokemon and Dave beat his father and became
the new champion and his dad retired. Dave went back home to see his mom and after
him adventure he took a nice long rest. 

     Holy cow that was an awesome dream. Now it's time for school.
